UConn STEMTalk was founded in 2017 by a group of passionate young women of STEM through the Idea Grant. The image above shows the founding members at the magazine's launch party! As the University of Connecticut's only STEM magazine, we aspire to create content that spreads awareness of various opportunities, current research, news, and opinions in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. This magazine will provide students with the resources to explore the various domains of STEM and provide an outlet for UConn staff and students to make connections while promoting UConn as a research university. UConn STEMTalk will make its scientific content relatable to appeal to any student’s interest.
